TERMS OF SERVICE
Estimates and Fees: Prior to service you will be provided with a no obligation estimate of the costs for the work to be performed by Site Tech as well as the cost for any material components such as parts and software. Upon approval you agree to pay Site Tech the approved amount. You agree that any verbal approval made in person, by phone or other communication methods constitutes a verbal agreement to pay the full amount agreed upon plus any applicable sales tax. On Location Service: A person of at least 18 years of age must be present at the time of service for all on location services provided by Site Tech. Site Tech requires full access to the devices to be services, access to you physical location such as your residence or place of business and you full consent to enter your residence or business. You also agree to provide an adequate and safe work environment with access to a work space and electrical power. Services may be denied and a cancellation charge up to $120 may be assessed if the Site Tech Specialist arrives at the scheduled service call and determines that no adult is present or that the Site Tech Specialist does not have appropriate and safe access to the devices to be serviced. Potential for Data Loss and Data Backup Services: During a computer or electronic device repair there is a real chance of data loss or corruption even with the most minor of repairs. It is your responsibility to backup your data. Site Tech may make a fail-safe backup of the data on your device either in whole or in part but is not obligated to do so. If you do not have a backup of your data you may purchase a data backup service from Site Tech. If you decide to purchase a backup service you agree that any fees charged are for the attempt and that the fee will be due regardless of the success of the backup. Additionally you agree that Site Tech is not liable for the success or failure of the backup procedure, the viability of the data, or the success or failure of any restoration process. Repair Warranty: Site Tech provides a 30-day warranty on repairs provided at your home or business. For repairs that are performed as a result of virus, malware or spyware infection, the 30-day warranty is valid only if the anti-virus and anti-spyware protection for your equipment is properly installed, updated, and registered prior to connecting to the internet following the repair. If there is a problem with a repair performed by Site Tech and you notify us within the 30-day warranty period Site Tech will work to correct your original problem at no additional labor costs. Remote Support: As part of the repair process and to provide an avenue for continued maintenance, repairs, or support Site Tech may install remote support software onto your computer. Software Installation and Software Removal: You agree that Site Tech may install or uninstall software as needed in an attempt to service your equipment. It is the client’s responsibility to provide the original source media and any product key or license information for any software that is to be installed or re-installed as part of the repair service. End User License Equipment: You grant Site Tech the authority to accept any End User License Agreements on your behalf for any software that is installed. Limitation of Remedy: You agree that Site Tech’s total liability for damages related to its services is limited to the total amount you pay for the services, and you release Site Tech from liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Site Tech is not liable for loss, alteration, or corruption of any data or loss of any media from you device.
